Refurbishing a stylish holiday home in Hope Cove
Having approached REFURB when they first purchased the property, the owners of Seaquest sought advice about refurbishment from the Refurb team from the outset.
Seaquest sleeps six people and welcomes dogs, not least because of its beautiful enclosed garden. The project was to include both interior, exterior and garden developments so that the owners could both enjoy it and let it to holidaymakers in the area.
The challenge was to get planning permission and implement building works in a short space of time so that the property was ready for the holiday season.
What we did
Both inside and out, it’s now unrecognisable, with clean and contemporary interiors that not only make it a beautiful property to be proud of, but it has also lead to a summer season that’s fully booked making for a fantastic return on investment.
Outside Garden's team also worked their magic, levelling the lawn and planting the borders. Moving forward, Seaquest has also taken up Pebbles Property Management including housekeeping, laundry, welcome hampers and gardening services.
The property was completed on time and was in fact already booked for holiday lets before the season. Feedback has been extremely positive from the new property owners as well as guests who have stayed both before and after refurbishment.

Scotland. We’ve recently had to sell the property as we have moved to
live in Devon, however we did so for a significant profit thanks to the quality
of the refurbishment.
